Ithaca, as a concept, has always intrigued me ever since I first came across the marvelous poem of “Ithaca” by Constantine P. Cavafy, a Greek poet of the twentieth century. Ithaca was Odysseus’s journey home. But just before it, the self-development process in all its complexity remains the goal of this hymn for a fulfilling life.
I love traveling, and I do travel a lot. This happens for work, studies, and my own pleasure. Traveling to me has the power to transform us and the ability to change the self for the better.
Traveling for education, work, and pleasure gives me the opportunity to speak with brilliant minds, simple and humble people, journalists, and activists of civil society.
People that have a say in democracy, open society, living without borders, migration, environment, educational systems, health, sport culture, gastronomy, business and media.
The purpose of this blog is to share thoughts of experts I meet during my journey as well as common citizens that inspire my work. That is why this blogosphere invites discussion around topics I am interested in and work on. It provides commentary and opinion.
Thank you for all the opportunities provided until now, and for others to come.
I am taking you with me on all my future trips and conversations I have.
It is always a pleasure to get to know you,
